When you decide to change your blog URL, you would do that first from the admin panel because all that information needs to be updated in the database first from the section Settings &gt; General -&gt; Site Address.
If you have the possibility to temporary change your blog URL back to what it was then you make that update in less than a minute.
If  no,t you would then log into your web hosting account admin panel. Once you locate the MySQL database then open the table named wp_options (if wp_ is the default prefix for your database tables).
The first option will be generally siteurl in the column option_name. Edit that record to change the option_value to your new blog URL.</description>
